I always used to photograph Heavy Metal concerts with my conventional camera, just to register or to use in the POLTERGEIST Mag, a fanzine I edit since 1989. The fanzine has turned into a magazine and the interest into photography increased, improved by the facilities of nowadays´ digital cameras. That brought me to develop myself technically in this topic. I´ve been getting better in the last years but I still have much to learn.
This site is my “photopit”, name given to that area reserved to the photographers between the stage and the audience and has lately been used also to name sites specialized in photo exposure. Here you will find some of the old and new pics I´ve been taking all these years.
Photographing concerts and bands in special give me the opportunity to unit the ancient love for Heavy Metal with the pleasure on photography, and that resulted in Metal Gallery.
